ABBA did an Amazing job on my salt and pepper transition! It’s very soft and healthy, thanks to her recommendation for the vitamin infusion treatment. If you are wanting to embrace your grays, ABBA is the one that can get it done. :)

I needed a last minute appointment and wanted a place close by. I'm SO glad I booked with Lauren at Alter'd Culture. Lauren is amazing, fun, and professional!! She cut and styled my hair based on some inspo videos, and she nailed it. My hair already is visibly healthier, and I just couldn't wait to write this review. I'll definitely be back!

I recently went in to get a partial highlight and hair cut. Normally when I've gotten this done in the past, it's a 3.5-4 hour affair. I showed an inspiration photo to Danielle and she got to business. I have been getting my hair done like this for 5 years, and I have never seen someone work so fast. She was a machine. She cut and foiled my hair for processing so quickly I was actually a little nervous how it was going to turn out. The girls helping her were hilarious and fun, and it was a laid back vibe the entire time. All of my worries were unfounded because Danielle is just THAT GOOD. She isn't rushing, she is efficient and you can tell she understands hair on a different level. She took my inspiration photo and made it work for ME, rather than just blindly copying it. And I was out of there in 2.5 hours. ELITE. I will be getting my hair cut here for the rest of my days. Look no further, this is the best salon in Louisville.

So happy I found this salon! It’s beautiful and clean and has a cozy, chill vibe. I’d definitely recommend the fusio treatment haircut package; my hair is SO soft and voluminous now!! Abba gave an amazing scalp massage and is a very talented stylist. She did a thorough consultation, listened well and checked in frequently when she was cutting my face framing layers to ensure I got the cut I wanted. I’m so impressed and have already booked my next appointment!

I have gone to Lauren twice now for a cut and for highlights and she has done AMAZING both times! The atmosphere at Alter’d Culture is so calming and everyone is so kind. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their hair done.

Abba listened well to what I wanted, but it was also clear that she knew what she was doing. I have had problems with stylists being dismissive when I asked for their opinion, but she was really helpful. The photo in the purple sweater is the before, and the black shirt is after!
